Alaska Delivery Prohibition Program
- Type of Program:
Green Tag
- How To Identify An Ineligible Underground Storage Tank:
Owners or operators may not allow petroleum to be placed in an underground storage tank unless a valid tag, decal, or notice for the tank is displayed. If after an inspection an underground storage tank is found to be out of compliance, then the owner or operator must return the tag, decal, or notice by November 1 of the year the inspection is due. Inspections are required once every three years. Alaska lists tanks on Leak Detection Probation on their Web site.
