Various multi-pollutant proposals designed to reduce emissions from the power sector have been introduced in the Senate this decade. EPA agreed to perform detailed analyses for these legislative proposals starting in 2003 in response to Senate requests. That information, along with analysis of EPA's regulatory approach to reducing emissions from the power sector, is provided on this web site. These analyses are based on air quality, health benefits, and power sector modeling projections and estimates through 2025.
