Black & Veatch has executed more than 35 cogeneration projects, totaling more than 7,800 MW. These projects included both "greenfield" facilities and additions to existing process facilities. Black & Veatch has successfully integrated cogeneration systems into existing facilities in ways that minimize facility downtime and maximize value creation for the client. For biomass-fueled CHP, Black & Veatch has completed work using a variety of feedstocks for thermal energy and electric power production.
