The Policy and Program Evaluation Division develops and implements waste cleanup enforcement policy, and evaluates regional program activities under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act ("CERCLA" or "Superfund"), Resource Conversation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Oil Pollution Act (OPA) and the Underground Storage Tank (UST) program. Non-cleanup related enforcement under RCRA is the responsibility of our sister organization, the Office of Civil Enforcement.
