NEJAC Meetings

The Charter of the National Environmental Justice Advisory Council (NEJAC) states that the advisory committee shall provide independent advice to the Administrator on areas that may include, among other things, “advice about EPA’s progress, quality and adequacy in planning, developing and implementing environmental justice strategies, projects and programs” relating to environment justice.

Teleconference Sessions

During the upcoming NEJAC Public Meeting on February 11 - 12, 2014, four sessions will be available via audio teleconference to those unable to attend in person:

Session A: February 11, 2014, Morning (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. MT)

Session B: February 11, 2014, Afternoon (1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. MT)

Session C: February 12, 2014, Morning (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. MT)

Session D: February 12, 2014, Afternoon (1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. MT)

Separate phone lines will be used for each session. If registering by phone or email, please indicate which session(s) you plan to attend. For example, "I will attend all four sessions," or "I will attend sessions C and D." There will not be a public comment period during these sessions.

Please note that a limited number of lines will be available. Those who are pre-registered will be given priority over others on a first-come basis, as capacity allows. Participating individuals will be able to hear real time presentations and the NEJAC member discussions on the topics specified above. The teleconference will be audio only, in an effort to minimize cost.

If registering for the teleconference sessions by phone or email, please indicate which sessions you will attend.

Non-English speaking attendees wishing to arrange for a foreign language interpreter may also make appropriate arrangements when registering.

Members of the public who wish to attend any of the sessions must pre-register by Noon Mountain Time on February 5, 2014.
