The National Environmental Justice Advisory Council (NEJAC) held its 30th meeting from January 27-29, 2010 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Discussions included:

  1. Dialogue with EPA Senior Officials
  2. Incorporating Environmental Justice into Rulemaking
  3. New Strategies for Reducing Air Pollution and Improving Health in EJ Communities: Upcoming Air Rules
  4. Conducting EJ Analysis: Definition of Solid Waste Rule
  5. EPA Plan for Responding to the NEJAC Goods Movement Report, NEJAC Work Group Reports
  6. Building Blocks to Creating Healthy Communities: Lessons learned from EPA Achievement Awards
  7. EPA Enforcement Initiatives
  8. Recommendations for School Air Toxics Monitoring
  9. Recommendations for Nationally Consistent Environmental Justice Screening Approaches
