Information presented here is aimed toward helping federal agencies comply with environmental laws, regulations, and Executive Orders. Federal facilities must comply with environmental laws, regulations and Presidential Executive Orders. Part of EPA's mission is to provide compliance assistance to federal agencies and their facilities. Federal Facilities Monitoring - EPA publishes reports on compliance with environmental laws by federal agencies. Please review the Federal Facilities monitoring reports for more information.
EPA works in partnership with other agencies on activities geared toward improving compliance. Beginning in 2002, EPA and the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) signed a commitment statement (PDF 766.9KB) committing their organizations to work together to improve environmental compliance of VHA facilities.
