Worker Protection Standard Inspection Manual
EPA provides an Inspection Manual to federal inspectors who conduct compliance monitoring activities as part of the Worker Protection Standard (WPS) program under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). The Manual also may be helpful in orienting and training state and tribal pesticide inspectors.
The policy, guidance, authorities, and objectives for carrying out standard field procedures was accurate as of the date of publication. EPA may issue other guidance to assist inspectors that supplements or supercedes this Manual. The Manual does not cover every possible situation that pesticide inspectors may encounter, but is intended as a reference aid. EPA issued separate manuals for core FIFRA compliance monitoring or Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) Standards programs.
