AGENCIES: U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, (lead agency), National 
Marine Fisheries Service, Bonneville Power Administration (cooperating 
agencies).

ACTION: Notice of Extension of Comment Period.

SUMMARY: As announced in the Federal Register on February 21, 1997 (FR, 
Vol. 62, No. 35, p. 8034), the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) 
requested comments on the Draft Programmatic Environmental Impact 
Statement be received by May 1, 1997. This notice announces the Service 
has extended the comment period.

DATES: Written comments are requested by June 2, 1997.
