Barnstable, MA
The Three Bay/Centerville Harbor in Barnstable
was designated a NDA in June 2001. There are two facilities, one
a pumpout boat and one fixed, both are located at the Oyster Harbor
Marine.
Boston Harbor, MA
Boston Harbor was designated a "No Discharge Area" on July 24, 2008. There are 34 pumpouts facilities available to service vessels, please see the Boston Harbor Commercial or Recreation factsheet for a listing of the pumpouts.

Buzzards Bay, MA
Buzzards Bay was designated a "No Discharge Area" in August 2000. There are 30 pumpout facilities available to service vessels in the Buzzards Bay area.
Cape Cod, MA
Cape Cod Bay was designated a "No Discharge Area" on July 25, 2008. There are eight pumpout facilities available to service vessels in Cape Cod Bay.
Stage Harbor Complex, Chatham, MA
Stage Harbor Complex, Chatham, MA was designated as a "No Discharge Area" in December 1996. There are two public pumpout facilities available to service vessels in the Stage Harbor Complex the facilities.
Harwich, MA
The major harbors and contiguous beaches between and including Allen, Wychmere and Saquatucket to the Herring River (the NDA does not include Pleasant Bay) was designated as a No Discharge Area in August 1998. There are two pumpout facilities available to service vessels in the area.
Nantucket, MA
Nantucket, MA was designated as a "No Discharge Area" in June 1992. There are six pumpout facilities available to service vessels in Nantucket coastal waters, five are located within the Nantucket Harbor and the sixth is located in Madaket Harbor, at the western end of the island.
Plymouth, Kingston, Duxbury, MA
The harbors of Plymouth, Kingston, and Duxbury were designated as a "No Discharge Area" on July 20, 2006. There are six pumpout facilities at four locations in the area. Brewer's Plymouth Marine has a shore-side facility, the town of Plymouth operates a pumpout boat and shoreside facility, the town of Duxbury operates a pumpout boat and shore side facility and, the town of Kingston operates a pumpout boat.
Salem
Salem Sound and the municipal waters of Manchester-by-the-Sea, Beverly, Danvers, Salem, and Marblehead were designated as a "No Discharge Area" on June 23, 2008. There are eight pumpout facilities in the area, and two pending pumpout facilities.
Scituate, Marshfield, Cohasset
The harbors Scituate, Marshfield, and Cohasset were designated as a "No Discharge Area" on May 23, 2008. There are ten pumpout facilities in the area, four fixed shore-based facilities, three portable facilities, and three pumpout boats.
Swampscott, Nahant, Lynn, Saugus, and Revere
Swampscott, Nahant, Lynn, Saugus, and Revere municipal and state waters were designated a No Discharge Area on March 18, 2009. There are 2 pumpouts facilities available to service vessels.
Waquoit Bay, MA
Waquoit Bay was designated a "No Discharge Area" in March of 1994. There are two pumpout facilities available to service vessels in the Waquoit bay. The location of the pumpouts are at the Edwards Boat Yard and the Little River Boat Yard.
Wareham, MA
Wareham, MA was designated as a "No Discharge Area" in November 1991. There are seven pumpout facilities available to service vessels in the Wareham coastal waters. The location of the pumpouts are: Bevan's Marina, Onset Bay Marina, Point Independence Yacht Club, Stonebridge Marina, Onset Town Pier, Warr's Marine and Wareham Boat Yard.
Wellfleet, MA
Wellfleet, MA was designated as a "No Discharge Area" in June 1995. There are three pumpout facilities available to service vessels in the Wellfleet coastal waters. The location of two of the pumpouts are on the town dock, and the third facility is a pumpout boat.
Westport, MA
Westport, MA was designated as a "No Discharge Area" in September 1994. There are two pumpout facilities to service vessels in the Westport area. The location of the pumpouts are at the town pier on the north side of Westport Harbor, and the other is at Tripps Marina.
