Notice of a Second Workshop on the Development of Regulations for Aircraft Public Water Systems

The workshop will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Eastern time (ET), on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 and from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET, Thursday, March 29, 2007, with one and a half hour lunch breaks each day. The meeting will be held at the Sheraton Crystal City Hotel, 1800 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, VA in Ballroom A. The hotel is located adjacent to the Crystal City Metro Station on the blue and yellow lines. Workshop Summary:  Initial Scoping Workshop for Development of an Aircraft Drinking Water Rule, January 18 & 19, 2006, Washington DC
As part of a collaborative rulemaking process, EPA held an initial scoping workshop on the development of regulations for aircraft public water systems, in Washington, DC.  The workshop was well attended by more than 70 stakeholders representing a broad range of interests (airlines, flight attendants, passengers, pilots, airports, laboratories, public health and environmental).

Summary Report: Aircraft Drinking Water Systems Public Meeting, June 1, 2005, Washington, DC
As part of this collaborative process, EPA held a public meeting, on June 1, 2005, in Washington, DC, to officially kickoff the collaborative rulemaking effort. The meeting was well attended by more than 50 stakeholders representing a broad range of views including the airlines, flight attendants, passengers, pilots, airports, laboratories, public health and the environment.
