Arsenic Research and EPA’s ETV Program

EPA's Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) Program develops testing protocols and verifies the performance of innovative technologies that have the potential to improve the protection of human health and the environment. The program was created to accelerate the entrance of new environmental technologies into the domestic and international marketplaces.

Through the ETV Program, EPA conducts short-term performance verification studies of commercially ready arsenic treatment technologies. EPA has verified the following arsenic treatment technologies:

• Reverse Osmosis, Coagulation and Filtration, and Adsorptive Media for Arsenic Removal
• Arsenic Test Kits
