The Tribal Science Council seeks input from Tribes on priority science issues that they may be facing and related activities that are going on across the Agency or in other federal agencies. If you are interested in keeping up with TSC activities, or if you have issues that you wish to raise, please contact the appropriate Tribal, Regional, or Headquarters TSC representative or the Executive Secretary at Who We Are. Goal TeamsGoal 1: Improve understanding of the environmental science issues of greatest concern to tribes throughout the nation and EPA's ability to address these issues and consider them as part of its official planning process. Members: Charlotte Bertrand, Rollie Hemmett (lead), Bob Hillger, Beth Jackson, Dave LaRoche, and Curtis Munoz. Goal 2a: Implement effective communication. Goal 2b: Address tribal environmental priorities with consideration to elders, children, and seventh generation. Members: Ted Coopwood, Beth Jackson, Ella Mulford, Monica Rodia (lead), Mike Slimak, and LeeJuan Tyler. Goal 3: Transfer EPA and tribal scientific information to Indian Country. Members: Dave Charters, Tony David, Dana Davoli, Brenda Groskinsky, Dan Kusnierz, Jeff Mears, and Patti Tyler (lead). Goal 4: Establish equal partnerships between tribal and EPA scientists in the development and application of sound science. Members: Tom Baugh, Tia Chullakorn, Bob Hall, Rollie Hemmett, Misti Little, Caren Robinson, and Rita Schoeny (lead). Goal 5: Provide information to tribal nations to enhance communication and coordination with other agencies and organizations to more effectively respond to tribal environmental science issues.
