How To Identify An Ineligible Underground Storage Tank:
Annual self certification of compliance with all applicable administrative and technical requirements is required. This results in the issuance of a delivery certificate, which must be posted at each site in a location visible to the person performing deliveries and also made available to the common carrier who provides fuel to the site. The certificate specifies all eligible tanks. Fill tubes must be permanently labeled to correspond with the tank identifier on the delivery certificate. Delivery and transfer of regulated substances are prohibited to any tank not identified as eligible on a valid and current facility delivery certificate.
