The Tribal Resource Directory for Drinking Water and Wastewater Treatment is a searchable catalog of over thirty federal and non-federal programs that offer funding and technical support for tribal drinking water and wastewater systems.
To find programs that match your Tribe’s specific needs, you can conduct the following searches:
- Search by agency and program name;
- Search by infrastructure type (drinking water, wastewater, both drinking water and wastewater);
- Search by type of assistance (grants, loans, technical assistance and training); or
- Search by purpose/area of need (planning, design, construction (new), construction (rehabilitation), operation and maintenance, management and administration).
Each search generates a list of programs that match your search criteria. By clicking on a program from the list, you can access a fact sheet that provides program-specific information on the types of projects it will support, amount of available funding, eligibility criteria, how to apply and how to get more information on that particular program. You may also browse or print out different sections of the Directory, including selected stories of tribes that have received assistance from multiple programs listed in this directory, as well as a list of relevant web links.
The Tribal Resource Directory for Drinking Water and Wastewater Treatment was prepared by the Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Water, in collaboration with the agencies and organizations featured in the Directory.
