Water Quality Standards - Illinois
|
The Water Quality Standards (WQS) program in Illinois is
managed by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA).
The Illinois Pollution Control Board is responsible for adopting
Illinois' environmental regulations and deciding contested
environmental cases. Other State agencies, such as Illinois
Department of Natural Resources, Illinois Natural History
Survey, and Illinois Department of Public Health, at times
work with IEPA on WQS issues. |
