Water Quality Standards - Michigan

The Water Quality Standards (WQS) program in Michigan is managed by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ). Other State Agencies, such as the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and the Michigan Department of Community Health, at times work with MDEQ on WQS issues.
