Although there is no specific wetlands program, the Virgin Islands Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR) has regulatory authority in the Coastal Zone Management Program, which addresses wetland issues. In the U.S. Virgin Islands the form used to apply for a permit is the Joint Application Department of the Army/Virgin Islands for Activities in Waters of the Virgin Islands of the US, SAJSJ Form 983. The forms can be obtained from the USACOE Antilles Regulatory Section or the DPNR; contact information for both agencies appears on the USACOE Antilles Regulatory Section Exit EPA disclaimer Web page.  All applications must be submitted to the Corps through the Department of Planning and Natural Resources.
