Federal Facilities Environmental Compliance Workshop
Held: July 11 to 12, 2007
Summary:
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region III is hosting an environmental compliance workshop for Federal facilities. The workshop will provide a framework to deal with those compliance issues affecting the Federal sector.
This 2-day workshop will introduce basic principles of environmental compliance in the following areas: Underground Storage Tanks, Hazardous Waste, TSCA Lead-based paint, Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC), NPDES and Stormwater requirements. The workshop will be delivered through lectures from experienced compliance inspectors. Several case studies to be used during the workshop will help reinforce the material.
There is no cost to attend this training; however, each participant is responsible for her/his travel and per diem expenses. Due to the activities designed for this training and to provide the best experience, class size is limited to 40 participants.
