To help you determine if your facility is required to report, US EPA HQ and Region 4 are sponsoring twenty FREE TRI Training Sessions. We are offering three different options: a) One-Day TRI Training, b) Web-Based TRI Introduction , and c) Web-Based TRI Advanced. LIVE TRAINING COURSES:
The One-Day Live in-person TRI Training courses will cover all aspects of EPCRA Section 313 reporting requirements, including threshold determinations, exemptions, release and other waste management reporting requirements, Pollution Prevention reporting, PBT chemicals, updates to the Forms and the TRI Program, and a demonstration of the latest version of EPA's TRI reporting software, TRI Made Easy (TRI-ME), including submission of Forms electronically via the internet.
1 One-Day Live This course will be a One-Day course that will cover how to comply with EPCRA Section 313 reporting requirements, exemptions, threshold determinations, release and other waste management reporting, Pollution Prevention reporting, PBT chemicals, and lead and lead compounds. The course will also cover the updates to the TRI program for Reporting Year 2007 and information on how to submit Forms, including an on-line demonstration of the latest version of EPA's TRI reporting software, TRI Made Easy (TRI-ME), to highlight new features and the validation and submission protocols, including submission of Forms electronically via the internet.
WEB-BASED TRAINING SESSIONS:
2 Web-Based TRI Basic Concepts - EPA is offering a TRI Basic Concepts session that will cover how to comply with EPCRA Section 313 reporting requirements, exemptions, threshold determinations, release and other waste management reporting, Pollution Prevention reporting, PBT chemicals, and lead and lead compounds.
3 Web Based TRI Advanced Concepts - EPA also is offering a separate session for people that are more experienced with TRI reporting. This TRI Advanced Concepts session will cover the updates to the TRI program for Reporting Year 2007 and information on how to submit Forms, including an on-line demonstration of the latest version of EPA's TRI reporting software, TRI Made Easy (TRI-ME), to highlight new features and the validation and submission protocols, including submission of Forms electronically via the internet - this session is only for those that have previously reported for TRI or attended the TRI Introduction session.
The web-based training are being offered using web-conferencing technology so that you can watch the training via a web connection while interacting with an instructor via a toll-free teleconference link.
