2008 Update

EPA completed a third five-year review in September 2008. The review determined that cleanup at the site protects human health and the environment. EPA recommends that current land restrictions be revised to clearly identify the boundaries of the restricted areas. Velsicol must also submit a land use and deed restriction work plan with requirements to maintain deed restrictions upon sale of the property and commit to revising the Operation and Maintenance plan with long-term stewardship procedures.
