Title V Petition Database
The title V operating permit program allows the public to petition EPA to object to specific permits. Also, the public is able to petition EPA on program or implementation deficiencies. For more information on how to file a petition see Chapter six in "The Proof is in the Permit." For additional information on operating permit public input see the Operating Permit Program's Public Input Page.
Below are the petitions EPA has received. They are listed in reverse chronologic order by the date EPA received the petition. Where EPA has issued a final response to a petition the status will be marked as "final." To view EPA's response click on "final." Contact Kirt Cox at (919) 541-5399 if you have questions about any of these petitions or EPA's responses.
The text of petitions and responses can also be searched online.
Some documents in the database are a scanned or retyped version of a paper photocopy of the original. Although considerable effort has been expended to quality assure the conversion, some documents may contain typographical errors.
