State boundaries for EPA Region 8

Abstract:

   This coverage contains the state boundaries for Montana, Colorado,           
   South Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming, and Utah. These states make             
   up EPA Region 8. The associated attributes include only the state            
   name and the state Federal Information Processing Standards code.

Purpose:

   This coverage is for use with Arc/Info and related software.                 
                                                                                
   Intended use of data:                                                    
    This coverage is necessary for defining the boundary of Region 8            
    and all inclusive states. This coverage is also used as a clip              
    coverage for larger datasets.

    There are a limited number of added items in the PAT and AAT.

   These boundaries were extracted from TIGER data.
