EPA released a final WaterSense Specification for Commercial Pre-Rinse Spray Valves on September 19, 2013. Manufacturers that produce pre-rinse spray valves meeting EPA's efficiency and performance criteria can apply to have their products certified to earn the WaterSense label. Before submitting products for testing, manufacturers must have a partnership agreement (PDF) (3 pg, 336K) with EPA in place. Visit the manufacturer partner page to learn more.

For more information about the pre–rinse spray valve specification development process, including the draft specification, public response to the draft specification, and EPA’s response to the public comments, please visit the Specification for Commercial Pre–Rinse Spray Valves Background Materials page.
