2005 Council Grants:
Girl Scouts of the Deep South
Project Title: Water, Water Everywhere
Project Description: Girls planned and participated in overnight events focused on coastal environmental education, career exploration, endangered species, water pollution, wildlife nature hikes, advocacy and volunteerism (beach clean-up). Girls learned about local ecology and water pollution by creating their own watersheds and learning how industries affect the gulf coast environment.
