Girl ScoutCouncil of the Nation’s Capital
Project Title: The Linking Girls to the Land Outreach and Visioning Project
Project Description: The Girl Scout Leadership Experience approach will be used to discover needs, connect partners, girls and leaders and develop a new action strategy for the Linking Girls to the Land (LGTTL) program. Focus groups with partner agencies and a series of six focus groups and outdoor activity sessions with girls and adults will be held to explore the LGTTL core program goals and objectives. The events will take place in a variety of geographic areas (rural, urban and suburban). A final report will recommend strategic priorities and opportunities that can be used to support future GSUSA LGTTL leadership program development.
