2003 Council Grants:

Girl Scouts of Kennebec

Project Title: Discover Maine Wildlife

Project Description: Girl Scouts ages 11-17 and leaders were trained in Project Wild sponsored by the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. A Girl Scout Day at the Maine Wildlife Park provided girls with an increased knowledge of Maine's wildlife and plant, animal and water relationships and earned the Wildlife Badge. Older girls volunteered as tour guides for younger girl scouts at the Maine Wildlife Park and shared their knowledge learned from the project.
