AED Wetlands Research
Our research supports the development of wetland assessment protocols and also focuses of examining stressor-response relationships including the impacts of nutrient addition and human disturbance on wetland condition and function. Stressor-response relationships advance the science of wetlands research because they focus on indicators of the ecosystem services provided to society by wetlands. Such relationships are important to understand, as EPA and others come under increasing pressure to account for the ecological benefits of our environmental protection actions.
