Cooperative Agreement to Enhance Surveillance of Risk Factors and Health Effects Related to Harmful Algal Blooms

The purpose of this CDC funded grant is for the collection of specific data related to harmful algal blooms using the Harmful Algal Bloom-related Illness Surveillance System and to analyze and interpret this data to understand the impact of these blooms on the health of the general public. This program addresses the “Healthy People 2010” focus area(s) of Environmental Health.
