Chemical Safety
Extremely Hazardous Substances Chemical Profiles and Emergency First-Aid Guides
These chemical profiles and first-aid guides provide information about each of the extremely hazardous substances (currently more than 300) listed as part of the emergency planning requirements (Section 302) of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-To-Know Act (EPCRA).Each chemical profile includes physical/chemical properties, health hazards, fire and explosion hazards, reactivity data, precautions for safe handling and use, and protective equipment for emergency situations.
Each first-aid guide provides signs and symptoms of poisoning and emergency treatment for first responders.
