| Description | The Agriculture Energy Efficiency Program assists the agriculture industry in reducing energy costs and increasing production by providing education and financial assistance for the implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies. Individual grant awards are for a maximum amount of $50,000 each. |

| How to Apply | The Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs' Energy Division issues a request for proposals every other year. The next solicitation will be in Spring 2009. |
