| Description | The Minnesota Department of Commerce offers financial support for the installation or expansion of a commercially available anaerobic digester system at eligible Minnesota dairy farms to produce any of the following forms of energy: electricity, thermal energy, or biogas. The project’s simple payback period must be greater than two years. Cost sharing of 50 to 70 percent is required. |
