| Description | This program offers loans to finance animal waste treatment systems for independent livestock and poultry producers at below conventional interest rates. There is no limit to the amount of the loan but it must be paid off within 10 years or within the useful life of the equipment purchased under the loan (whichever is less). The interest rate is set at 5.6 percent. Borrowers must have less than 1,000 livestock or poultry animal units to be eligible. |

| How to Apply | Interested organizations should fill out an application, available from the Web site below, and send with a $50 registration fee to the Missouri Department of Agriculture. |
