Bioenergy Program for Advanced Biofuels

The Bioenergy Program for Advanced Biofuels was authorized under Section 9005 of the Farm Bill. The program provides payments to eligible producers to expand production of advanced biofuels. Payments will be made to eligible biofuel producers for the production of fuel derived from renewable biomass, other than corn kernel starch, which includes biofuel derived from waste materials such as animal waste, crop residue, other vegetative waste material, food waste, and yard waste.
The amount of each payment will depend on the number of producers participating in the program, the amount of advanced biofuels being produced, and the amount of funds available.

|How to Apply||Application materials may be obtained by contacting the USDA, Rural Development State Office, Renewable Energy Coordinator. Submit applications to the Rural Development State Office in the State in which the applicant's principal office is located.|
