BenMAP can be downloaded from this page. The files for setting up BenMap and InterBase (the database server that is required to run BenMAP) are provided below.
The set up file for BenMAP is large - 262 MB. The time to download this depends on the speed of your internet connection.
To familiarize yourself with the basic layout of the program, we recommend that you work through the tutorial in Chapter 2 of the User Manual.
The system requirements for running BenMAP are outlined below.
- Windows 2000 or greater
- 800 MB free hard disk space
- 256 MB RAM
- 1 GB + free hard disk space (for storing air quality grids, results, etc.)
- 1 GB RAM (for doing REMSAD 12km grids, CAMx grids, lots of C-R functions, etc.)
- 1 GHz + Processor speed

ibinstall.zip (zip file) (3.6 MB) - This is the file to install InterBase. Interbase is the database technology used by BenMAP 1.0, and must be installed prior to the installation of BenMAP 1.0. Run this installer first, selecting all default options, and restart your machine when prompted. Save this file, unzip it, and run it.
setup.zip (zip file) (262 MB) - This is the file to install BenMAP 1.0 and the BenMAP 1.0 User Manual. Save this file, unzip it, and run it.
