This page lists AirData reports and maps that are compatible with the type of geographic area you selected. Some reports and maps are compatible with several geographic area types (USA, state, and county, for example).

The reports and maps are grouped by the type of air pollution data they include. A report or map that can include more than one type of data is listed in all applicable groups.

The names of available reports and maps appear above in a tabular format, and are repeated below with brief descriptions. To select a report or map, click on its name. To learn more about a report of map, use the sample link to see a small picture of it, or use the help page link to read all about it.

Monitoring - Criteria Air Pollutants (AQS Database)

Air Quality Index Report Sample         Help page
Annual summary, by county or metropolitan area, of Air Quality Index (AQI) - maximum, median, days with good/bad air quality.
Monitor Values Report Sample         Help page
Pollutant concentrations measured by each monitoring site, summarized by year, plus optional items that describe and categorize sites
Monitor Trends Report Sample         Help page
Year by year counts, shown in adjacent columns to facilitate comparison, of monitors reporting criteria air pollutant concentrations above the level of an air quality standard. Counts may be summarized by site, city, county, etc.
Monitor Count Report Sample         Help page
The number of monitors at each site or in each county, state, etc. An easy way to determine which criteria air pollutants are measured at each monitoring site.
Nonattainment Areas Map Sample         Help page
Map identifies counties where air pollution levels persistently exceed national air quality standards established by the Clean Air Act. Map shading colors indicate whether an entire county is exceeding the standard, or only part of it.
County Air Quality Map Sample         Help page
Map indicates each county's peak annual value of measured air pollutant concentrations, or number of days Air Quality Index was above 100 ("unhealthy for sensitive groups" or worse). An associated bar chart shows the total population of counties in the map and population subtotals for several levels of the peak annual value.
Monitor Locator Map Sample         Help page
Map shows the locations of air monitoring sites that measure ambient concentrations of air pollutants you select.
Facility/Monitor Locator Map Sample         Help page
Map shows the locations of air pollution point sources (facilities) and air monitoring sites (monitors). At your discretion, a map may include either facilities or monitors, or both.

Emissions by Category Report Sample         Help page
Criteria air pollutant emissions from both stationary and mobile sources, summarized by county (or state, or EPA region), with optional subtotals for 14 major categories (tier-1) or 75 more detailed categories (tier-2).
Facility Emissions Report Sample         Help page
Annual emissions of criteria air pollutants for individual point sources (facilities), and descriptive information such as facility name and location.
Facility Count Report Sample         Help page
The number of point sources and their total criteria air pollutant emissions for each geographic area (county, state, or EPA region)
Facility SIC Report Sample         Help page
The number of point sources and their total criteria air pollutant emissions for each Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) .
Facility Search Report Sample         Help page
Search for facilities by name, city, or industry type (SIC). Select a facility in the search results and get detailed information, including a state map indicating facility location, a bar chart of criteria air pollutant emissions, and descriptive information such as mailing address.
Emissions by Category Chart Sample         Help page
Bar chart shows how an area's criteria air pollutant emissions are distributed among 13 major (tier-1) categories of emission sources. Includes emissions from stationary and mobile sources.
County Emissions Map Sample         Help page
Map shading indicates the amount of criteria air pollutant emissions of each county in the selected geographic area. Emissions density is an option (amount per county land area).
Facility Locator Map Sample         Help page
Map shows the locations of point sources (facilities) that emit criteria air pollutants you select.
Facility/Monitor Locator Map Sample         Help page
Map shows the locations of air pollution point sources (facilities) and air monitoring sites (monitors). At your discretion, a map may include either facilities or monitors, or both.

Monitor Values Report Sample         Help page
A summary, by year, of the hazardous air pollutant levels reported by each monitoring site
Monitor Count Report Sample         Help page
The number of monitors at each site (or in each county, state, etc.) that measure specific hazardous air pollutants you specify or, alternatively, any hazardous air pollutant.
Monitor Locator Map Sample         Help page
Map shows the locations of air monitoring sites that measure ambient concentrations of hazardous air pollutants you select.

County Emissions Report Sample         Help page
Summarizes all HAP emissions (major sources, area and other stationary sources, and mobile sources). Data are summarized at the county, state or national level.
Facility Emissions Report Sample         Help page
Annual emissions of hazardous air pollutants for individual point sources (facilities), and descriptive information such as facility name and location. Includes both major and area sources.
Facility MACT Report Sample         Help page
Includes the number of sources and total hazardous air pollutant emissions for each MACT source category included in the NEI.
