Module 6: Air Pollutants and Control Techniques - Ozone - Control Techniques
Lesson Materials

Problems
Objective
- Describe the control technique for ozone.
Stationary sources are not regulated for ozone emissions because ozone forms in the atmosphere. Instead, regulations target the concentrations of precursor compounds. By reducing the emissions of nitrogen oxides, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and carbon monoxide, ozone concentrations in the ambient air can be minimized.
