Public Hearing to Take Comment on Two Proposed
Rules
1. Revisions to the National Ambient Air Quality Standards for
Particulate Matter
and
2. Revisions to Ambient Air Monitoring Regulations
EPA is announcing three public hearings to be held jointly for the two proposed rules – “National Ambient Air Quality Standards for Particulate Matter” and “Revisions to Ambient Air Monitoring Regulations”. These proposals were published in the Federal Register on January 17, 2006 (71 FR 2620 and 71 FR 2710). The proposed rules and background information are available on EPA ’s website.
The hearings will be held concurrently in Chicago, Illinois; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and San Francisco, California on March 8, 2006 from 9 AM to 9 PM (local time). The hearings will be held at the following locations:
