Peer Reviews of Atmospheric Modeling & Analysis Research

To help ensure the quality and relevance of EPA’s atmospheric research to develop and deliver tools to support environmental decision making, particularly in the area of air quality modeling, ORD’s National Exposure Research Laboratory (NERL) has convened several major peer reviews over the past few years. The findings of these reviews have all been positive.

Summaries of the 2009 and the 2011 mid-cycle review of the Atmospheric Modeling and Analysis Division are available below. In addition, results from the 2011 peer review of the Community Multiscale Air Quality (CMAQ) can be found below.
