Cyclone Tube

A cyclone tube is the device for separating particles from a spinning gas stream in mechanical collectors. The ability to collect particles is directly related to the diameter. Larger-diameter cyclones collect larger-sized particles; while small-diameter cyclones collect smaller-sized particles. The animations shown here detail how to calculate the circumference and area of a circle, the surface area of a cylinder, the volume of a cylinder and the volume of a cone.
