Course Description
This course is intended primarily for air pollution control agency personnel who might
work with criteria pollutants but are not familiar with hazardous air pollutants (HAPs)
and their effects on human health. The course is multi disciplinary in its approach so
that students from diverse academic backgrounds will understand and use the information.
Issues are addressed with a level of generality that will allow students to understand the
basic principles of air pollution toxicology.
