Description:	After the loss of their 10 year old daughter, Claudia, Katie and Eddie Bogan started the Claudia Rose Asthma Foundation. The goal is to raise money to educate the community and to help cure asthma. All proceeds will be given to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America in Claudia’s name and used to raise the awareness of asthma in the community.

Event:	Latino Forum for Parents of Children with Asthma

Description:	This event is a meeting of Latino parents of children with asthma to discuss three issues identified as barriers to control their children’s asthma. The agenda includes the County and State Children’s Health Program highlighting: How to select an appropriate MCO; Community in Action: How to involve your community to get a healthy neighborhood; and Asthma friendly school environments: How to work with the school nurse to manage your child’s asthma.
