Event: Asthma Awareness Month Activities in Minnesota
Date: 05/05/2009
Location: Northeast Region of Minnesota
Description: Numerous events are being held in Minnesota for Asthma Awareness Month:
  1. 5 managing your child’s asthma sessions will be held. These sessions are 90 minute presentations to parents and care takers of children with asthma. The sessions will be held at these locations: Two in Virginia, and one in Two Harbors, Ely, and Hermantown.
  2. Article in the Arrowhead Youth Soccer Association Newsletter promoting asthma awareness to 7,000 families.
  3. www.WinningWithAsthma.org exiting EPA promoting to 85 coaches.
  4. Asthma awareness flyers distributed at soccer registrations (2500) 5.) Minnesota-specific Fish Out of Water PSAs submitted to 3 local radio stations.
