Event:	Asthma Art Galaxy

Description:	We asked our patients with asthma and children with asthma at community outreach events to draw what their asthma means to them. The pictures will be on display on the hospital’s Art Galaxy Wall from May 1- May 19, 2009. The pictures will be placed in individual frames with matting along with their first names and ages. There are 52 frames that will contain 52 pictures about asthma.

Event:	Asthma Awareness Exhibit

Description:	We will provide asthma information including medication, delivery devices, and environmental control outside the cafeteria during the busy hours. This is a space reserved for educational booths.

Event:	Nationwide Asthma Screening Program
Date/Time:	05/09/2009 Time: 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Location:	Crown Center 2450 Grand Boulevard, KCMO Kansas City, MO 64108
Description:	Individuals will be screened for asthma through a quick and painless process that includes filling out a questionnaire, taking a breathing test and talking with an allergist about your results. The event is sponsored through a partnership between Children’s Mercy Hospital and the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.

Event:	Get Asthma Ready
