Moisture Content
Moisture Content q

Moisture content determined from wet and dry weights according to:
Moisture content equals the difference in wet and dry weights divided by the density of water all of which is divided by the difference in wet and dry weights divided by the density of water added to the dry weight itself divided by the solid density
q = porosity assumed equivalent to the moisture content.
Ww and Wd are the wet and dry weights of the sample, respectively.
rw and rs are the densities of water and solids, respectively.
