Review of Contaminant Transport

The On-Site calculators can be used to review transport and fate concepts for contaminants. Ground water contaminants are transported because of
  • flow of ground water, and
  • concentration gradients.
Use of these equations requires some input parameters which might require calculation or unit conversions (two of the three classes of On-Site calculators). On-Site also contains simple models which are the solution of the flow equation or of the transport equation.
