Ecosystems Research

Drew Ekman

My research has been directed toward developing and applying nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy approaches for metabolite profiling of tissues and biofluids (i.e., metabolomics) of ecologically relevant organisms to inform exposure assessments. Recently, I have focused primarily on studying small fish (e.g., fathead minnow) exposed to endocrine-disrupting chemicals.
