Ecosystems Research
Lourdes M. Prieto
My role at ERD is to support ongoing research. Mostly, this involves using geographic information system (GIS) technology to manage, analyze and display spatial data. I also support research by compiling data, formatting data for model input, creating charts, and doing literature searches. In the past, I have conducted laboratory and field studies and mapped sampling sites, using GIS and a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver.
