Pilot refers to projects funded prior to 2003. Grants refer to projects funded from 2003 on, under the authority of the Small Business Liability Relief and Brownfields Revitalization Act.

On November 12, 2004, the City of Bath, Maine awarded a $200,000 subgrant to the Bath Housing Development Corporation to assist with cleanup costs associated with the Tarbox Hill Cooperative Housing property.  This subgrant was made possible through a $750,000 EPA Brownfields Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) grant awarded to the City of Bath in September 2004. The cleanup was completed on December 12, 2005 and involved the installation of a potable water system on the 1.97-acre property. In addition to EPA funding, Bath Housing Development Corporation also leveraged $40,806 in cleanup funding through a local partnership and $1.5 million in private redevelopment funding. The Bath Housing Development Corporation will construct nine units of affordable housing on the Tarbox Hill Cooperative Housing property.
