The following 32 finalist have been chosen as the results of a Solicitation of Statements of Interest from Communities Interested in Being Designated as Brownfields Showcase Communities published in the Federal Register on March 16, 2000. Next Steps: These finalist communities are being notified and asked to complete a detailed, 10-page application which will be due back to the Brownfields Showcase Community Selection Board by July 10, 2000.The Federal partners plan to select ten Brownfields Showcase Communities to be announced at the Brownfields 2000 Conference, on October 11, 2000.
